There are two alternate starting locations for this ride. Check the ride listing to see where a particular ride is starting. At corner of Maple St. (LA 36) at Main St. in Abita Springs. Park along side school yard fence on Main Street. Tammany Trace trailhead parking lot at the end of Koop Drive by the railroad caboose on the Tammany Trace rail trail. Turn west onto Koop Road from LA 59 approx. 1/4 mile north of I-12.
